Luohu launches first National Science Popularization Month event

On September 9, the opening ceremony of the first National Science Popularization Month, along with the 2025 Shenzhen (Luohu) Science Popularization Month, was held at Liannan Primary School in Shenzhen. The event also marked the launch of the city’s Health Science Popularization Campaign (Luohu session).
With the theme “Decoding Life for a Healthy Future”, the event attracted over 300 teachers and students and kicked off a month-long program of activities in Luohu. Throughout September, more than 40 science outreach events will be organized across the district, covering topics such as health, innovation, and traditional Chinese medicine.
The campaign aims to foster a culture that values science, encourages exploration, and promotes healthy living, while also providing residents with diverse and high-quality science resources. By highlighting youth health and integrating local cultural elements, Luohu seeks to create an interactive and practical model for science education that can be shared citywide.
