Designer exhibition opens at China (International) Jewelry Fashion Week 2025
A designer exhibition opened on Sept. 19 at the Shenzhen Jewelry Museum, marking a highlight of the 2025 China (International) Jewelry Fashion Week. The exhibition gathers original works by outstanding designers, reflecting explorations in materials and craftsmanship, cultural interpretation, and insights into industry trends.
At the opening, the curatorial team guided guests through four exhibition themes: dialogue with nature, resonance with craftsmanship, alignment with the times, and encounters with knowledge, offering a comprehensive view of the designers' creative approaches.
The ceremony also featured the launch of "The Legend of Shuibei," a book documenting over 40 years of development in Shenzhen's Shuibei jewelry industry. The volume reviews key milestones, brand evolution and material knowledge, aiming to promote jewelry culture and craftsmanship. Copies were donated to universities to strengthen links between industry and education.
The exhibition will run until Oct. 19, with lectures, interactive sessions and other public activities scheduled throughout the month.
