Shenzhen International Jewellery Fair 2025 opens
The 2025 Shenzhen International Jewellery Fair opened on September 11 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian), running through September 15. Spanning 40,000 square meters with around 1,200 booths, the event gathers over 500 exhibitors showcasing a full spectrum of products from gold, diamonds, colored gemstones, jade, pearls and silver jewelry to packaging and equipment. More than 40,000 visitors are expected, with a rising share of overseas buyers.
Highlights include Asia’s largest jewelry equipment exhibition zone, featuring processing machines, instruments, tools, materials, and display solutions. This year, pearls are in the spotlight, with leading producers from China, South Seas, Tahiti and Japan presenting premium saltwater and freshwater pearls, as well as innovative designs like baroque styles, layered looks and pearl-metal combinations that resonate with younger consumers.
The fair also partners with the National Gemstone Testing Center to provide on-site gem testing and introduces AI-powered appraisal tools, enabling instant mobile scanning for preliminary gemstone reports—enhancing both efficiency and buyer confidence.
